It is perfectly normal to want to measure your behavior or accomplishments in relation to what other people are doing or to expert recommendations. Because many people want to know "how they're doing," there are thousands of online quizzes that cover all aspects of a person's life, including their personal finances.
Rutgers Cooperative Extension's Financial Fitness Quiz consists of 20 statements that ask users to select a response that best describes their performance of recommended financial management practices (e.g., calculating net worth annually, paying credit card bills in full, and having a personal investment account for retirement). Note that, of these 20 questions, 17 are answered with one of the following five responses: always, very often, usually, seldom, and never. For the remaining 3 questions, the answers are "yes" and "no."
Quiz scores can range from 20 to 100. The higher your score, the better your "financial fitness" because you are performing recommended financial practices on a regular basis. The quiz also provides a "to do list" of action steps to improve your personal finances.
